Ultimately, I would like to be able gather food along the way as I go on my walks across country. To be able to identify and gather edible plants has always been a deire that I've had. It's time to start studying up and practicing. Here are a few of the foraging sites that I've found for Texas edibles and edible plants for other locations. Let me know if you have any suggestions.
